The Supreme Court of India is inviting online applications for the recruitment of 107 vacancies in the posts of Court Master (Shorthand), Senior Personal Assistant, and Personal Assistant. The positions are available in Group-A (Gazetted) and Group-B (Non-Gazetted) categories with salaries ranging from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 67,700 per month. Educational Qualifications

Court Master (Shorthand):

  • Law Degree from a recognized university.
  • Proficiency in English Shorthand (120 w.p.m.).
  • Computer knowledge with 40 w.p.m typing speed.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Private Secretary/Senior PA/PA/Senior Stenographer in Government/Public Sector.

Senior Personal Assistant:

  • Degree from a recognized university.
  • Proficiency in English Shorthand (110 w.p.m.).
  • Computer knowledge with 40 w.p.m typing speed.

Personal Assistant:

  • Degree from a recognized university.
  • Proficiency in English Shorthand (100 w.p.m.).
  • Computer knowledge with 40 w.p.m typing speed.

Age Limit

  • Court Master (Shorthand): 30 to 45 years
  • Senior Personal Assistant: 18 to 30 years
  • Personal Assistant: 18 to 30 years

Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.

Salary details

The salary details for the posts are as follows:

  • Court Master (Shorthand) (Group-A Gazetted Post): Rs. 67,700
  • Senior Personal Assistant (Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted Post): Rs. 47,600
  • Personal Assistant (Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted Post): Rs. 44,900

Application Fee

  • Rs. 1,000 for General/OBC candidates
  • Rs. 250 for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PH/Dependents of Freedom Fighters
  • Plus bank charges.
  • Fee payment is through online mode only, via UCO Bank’s Payment Gateway.

  1. Online Application:

  2. Eligibility Proof:
    • Your admission at all stages (Typing/Shorthand Skill/Written/Computer Test/Interview) is provisional and subject to the verification of your eligibility.
    • Document verification will be done on the date of the interview.
  3. Uploading Documents:
    • Upload a recent scanned photograph and signature as per the instructions provided in the online application.
  4. Fee Payment:
    • Pay the non-refundable application fee online via UCO Bank’s Payment Gateway:
      • Rs. 1,000 for General/OBC candidates.
      • Rs. 250 for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PH/Dependents of Freedom Fighters.
    • The fee is non-refundable and must be paid online only.
  5. Application Confirmation:
    • After successful submission, preview the filled application form.
    • Print a copy for your records. No need to send the printed form to the Registry.
  6. Application Number:
    • Retain the application number for future reference, such as admit card generation and updates on the recruitment process.
  7. Additional Instructions:
    • Regularly check the Supreme Court website for updates and notifications about the recruitment process.
    • If more than one application is submitted, only the last submitted application will be considered.
    • No requests for fee refund or category changes will be entertained.
  8. Admit Card:
    • Download the admit card from the Supreme Court website once available. It will not be sent by post.
  9. Important Dates:
    • Keep track of the dates for the various tests (written, typing, shorthand, interview) that will be announced on the website and sent via SMS/email.
  10. No Objection Certificate:
    • Candidates working in Government Departments/PSUs will need to provide a No Objection Certificate at the time of the interview.
  11. Jurisdiction:
    • In case of disputes, legal jurisdiction will be Delhi.
